Incredible money for value hot dogs that stays true to the core of what a hot dog should be. I’ve been to other hot dogs establishments that just try to do too much to hot dogs when all people want is a sausage in between toasted bread with great toppings. This is what zippity do dog does right. Nice balance of flavors and textures. I thought I was just getting hot dogs but to my surprise it comes with chips, drinks, and a cookie! The owner is also incredibly nice. They’ve been here since mid 2000s, if that tells you something! There’s not much seating here but you can just eat in the car.

I made a huge mistake… not discovering Zippity Do Dog sooner! We popped in for lunch, and wow, what a hidden gem! With a menu packed full of tasty options at super reasonable prices, there’s something for everyone. Grab a seat in the shady trail-side spot or soak up some sun—either way, you’re in for a treat. The staff is beyond friendly, and trust me, you HAVE TO STOP if you’re anywhere nearby!

I moved to Framingham last summer and keep driving by Zippity Do Dog - except I drive by when they’re closed. But today when I drove by, they were open! My husband got a Hawaiian Dog and I got a Pearl Hot dog (because I prefer beef) with onions, cheddar, and brown mustard. We both really enjoyed our dogs. They were delicious! But more importantly, the guy who runs the business is really nice. He has a “pay it forward “ program where he’ll give free food to anyone who is unable to pay, and other patrons can contribute toward that program. It was my honor to contribute today. The food is made in a converted trolley car that sits in a parking lot. Plenty of parking, and a few picnic tables around. I brought our dogs home so didn’t experience the tables. All in all, a great business, yummy food, and they help people.

Nice little food truck and perfect if you use the Cochituate Rail Trail because it is right off the path. Owner was very friendly. I enjoyed my hot dogs and they came served in a nicely toasted New England-style hot dog bun. They aren’t huge, so most adults could easily eat 2 dogs. Lots of variety and there’s always a monthly special dog. I tried the Bacon Cheese Dog & monthly special Italian Sub Dog. I’ve had better hot dogs, but it was still pretty good. I personally think the price is a tad high for the size since the price has gone up over time, but I’ll still be back for sure. It would be great if there was a deal for 2 dogs without the drink, chips & cookie. There's more seats down by the trail if the ones by the parking is full.
